Who doesn’t love a handy dandy sheriff costume for Halloween or for a crazy costume party? Especially, if it is a throwback to your childhood or others around you. So Twin Peaks aired originally in the early 90s. A little before I was born… Unfortunately after the first two seasons, its tv ratings continued to decline. Thus, cancelling the series after 30 episodes have aired. Following the series David Lynch produced Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me movie, which had fair reviews. Overall this crime show has been able to pull people in and make them wonder what is Lynch going to do next. So pull out your wallet and get ready to stick ’em up!

Since the show has recently come back with a bang, I am pretty sure this Halloween we will see plenty of costumes inspired by Twin Peaks. I mean… who doesn’t love Sheriff Truman?

His look over the first two seasons screams a man’s man. He’s always rocking a leather neckless and a khaki shirt. Just add a wool stetson hat and you are good. However, unless you want to go to a thrift store… here are some modern day options to pull of the Sheriff Truman look.
